Due to COVID, many individuals were going through loneliness and isolation. In line with COVID-19 measures in Austria, the Global Shapers Team in Vienna motivated children & youth to write lettrs to the inhabitants of elderly homes. We distributed a total of 772 letters, 200 tulips, 100 chocolates and 200 Stauds jams to the Kuratorium Wiener Pensionisten-Wohnhäuser.
We were very happy to receiv positive feedback both from the elderly as well as from the youth, who showed strong solidarity.
